This Privacy Policy describes how Klebo Ltd ("Klebo", "we", "us" or "our"), a company registered in the Republic of Cyprus, collects, uses and shares information when you use the Any TV Remote Control mobile application (also published as "Any TV Universal Remote"; the "App") and the website anytv.app (together, the "Services").
Klebo Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this Policy. Contact: support@anytv.app.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide
- Contact information (such as your name and email address) — only if you choose to provide it, for example when you send feedback or contact support.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Device information: device model, operating system and version, app version, language, and device or app-instance identifiers (such as advertising or vendor identifiers, where permitted by your settings).
- Approximate (coarse) location: derived, for example, from your IP address or system region — used for analytics and regional configuration. We do not collect precise GPS location.
- Usage data: interactions with the App, such as features used, screens viewed and session information.
- Diagnostics: crash reports, logs and performance data.
- Purchase state: whether a subscription is active, received from the App Store or Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details.
1.3 Analytics (App and website)
We use Google Analytics in both the App and on our website. In the App, Google Analytics collects the usage, device and diagnostic information described in Section 1.2 (for example features used, app version, device model and approximate location) to help us understand how the App is used and improve it. On the website anytv.app, Google Analytics collects pages viewed, approximate location (country/city level), device and browser type, and interactions such as clicks on the App Store or Google Play download links, and sets cookies for this purpose.
This data is processed by Google LLC on our behalf under its own privacy policy. On the website, you can limit collection through your browser's cookie settings or the Google Analytics opt-out add-on; on your device, you can reset or limit identifiers as described in Section 7.
1.4 Local network information
To work as a remote, the App discovers and communicates with TVs and TV boxes on your local Wi‑Fi network. Device names, IP addresses and pairing tokens for your TVs are processed to establish the connection and are stored locally on your device. Remote-control commands and content you cast are transmitted directly from your phone to your TV over your local network; they are not sent to our servers.
The App may request permission to access your local network (iOS), photos and media (only if you use casting) and the microphone (only if a voice feature is offered on your device). You can decline or revoke these permissions in your system settings; related features may then be unavailable.
2. How we use information
- To provide and operate the App, including discovering and pairing with your TVs;
- To process and verify subscriptions and unlock Pro features;
- To understand how the App is used and to improve features, compatibility and performance;
- To diagnose and fix crashes, bugs and connectivity issues;
- To respond to your support requests;
- To comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
Where the GDPR applies, we process personal data on these legal bases: performance of a contract (providing the App and subscriptions), legitimate interests (analytics, diagnostics, improving and securing the Services), consent (where required, for example for certain identifiers or permissions — you can withdraw consent at any time), and legal obligation (where processing is required by law).
3. How we share information
We do not sell your personal data. We share information only with:
- Service providers that help us operate the Services, such as analytics and crash-reporting providers and subscription-management services. They process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
- App stores (Apple, Google) in connection with distribution and in-app purchases, under their own privacy policies.
- Authorities or other parties where required by law, or to protect our rights, users or the public.
- A successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, in which case this Policy will continue to apply to your data.
4. International transfers
Our service providers may process data outside your country, including outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as European Commission adequacy decisions or Standard Contractual Clauses.
5. Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described above: usage and diagnostic data is retained for a limited period (typically no more than 24 months), support correspondence for as long as needed to handle your request and for a reasonable period thereafter, and data required for legal or accounting purposes for the legally required period. TV pairing data stays on your device and is removed when you delete the App or clear its data.
6. Security
We use technical and organizational measures appropriate to the risk to protect your data, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- Correct inaccurate data;
- Delete your data;
- Restrict or object to certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests;
- Data portability;
- Withdraw consent at any time, where processing is based on consent;
- Lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In Cyprus, this is the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection; EEA users may also contact their local authority.
To exercise your rights, email us at support@anytv.app. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.
California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as defined by the CCPA/CPRA. You have the rights to know, delete and correct, and the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them.
You can also reset or limit ad/device identifiers in your device settings (iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking; Android: Settings → Google → Ads).
8. Children
The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the higher minimum age required in your country, e.g. under 16 in parts of the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us at support@anytv.app and we will delete it.
9. Third-party links and services
The Services may link to third-party websites and interact with third-party devices and platforms (such as your TV manufacturer's services). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies, which we encourage you to review.
10. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest version. For material changes we will provide reasonable notice, for example in the App or on this website.
